COMMUNITY Events: Girl Tribe Pop Up, March 7th 2019

Join us in welcoming Girl Tribe Co (@girltribeco), a Charlotte-based traveling pop-up that supports women-owned businesses, to Charleston! They’ll be popping in to The COMMUNITY on Thursday March 7th from 4-8PM to celebrate, mingle, and shop with Girl Tribe + a collection of guess vendors.

Founded by best friends and entrepreneurs Carrie Barker & Sarah Baucom in the fall of 2015, Girl Tribe Pop Up is a traveling pop up shop featuring products from women-owned brands, DIY workshops, fitness classes, influencers, cocktails, jams and bites.

Carrie and Sarah are lifelong acquaintances (they went to high school together) that reconnected in 2011 during a time when both realized they wanted to start their own businesses. Their support of each other and their “side hustles” over time transformed over time into the “Pink Social Girl Tribe” group and a successful line of graphic tees and tanks.

Girl Tribe Pop Up was founded in 2015 to give women-run businesses a physical space to sell their goods. Popping up in cities all over country, including Nashville, Jacksonville, and Atlanta, Girl Tribe Pop Up events are highly sought after by vendors and enthusiastically-attended by local supporters of indie, handmade, and women-run businesses. The COMMUNITY is beyond thrilled to host their first ever “Mini Pop” in our shop!
